 The Terra Firma Research Launch Rail has the following specifications;
  • One aluminum section of two meter with 2 connectors,
  • Four slots suitable for the Type 1500 for those large and heavy rockets.
  • The Research Rail is 40 mm square and can be used on 4 sides, four 8.2 mm slots.
  • The Research Rail can be put on any pad, for connection to a rod base, just screw in a M10 threaded rod in the bottom. If you want we can do this for you. You can also order an extra coupler for this, you will need to tell us the length of the bolts then however.
  • The Research Rail can be used for any HPR or Experimental rockets up to O motors without any problem. Large rockets however need a sturdy support for the Pro Rail.
  • For the best results in using the Research Rail you should spray it with a Teflon Coating, this makes for easy use and cleaning afterwards. Always clean your rail after use and coat it again with a Teflon Coating before storing.
